Trees Kill

Trees are killers (maybe not premeditated) but they do kill (manslaughter). They stand firm and tall and refuse to move.
This weekend an 8 year old was killed in Kalkaska County on a sledding hill when the sled she and two siblings were sliding down the hill on veered off the path and hit a tree. Despite her helmet she died of massive head injuries.
In Oscodo county a snowmobiler went out of control, hitting a tree. Same results.
Please drive carefully - and watch yourself around the trees.
