A Little Too Late

We woke up this morning to four inches of heavy wet snow. It made the ground, woods and trees look so pretty fresh and new. By early afternoon the temps had risen and melting had started in again, spots of ground were showing through. The snow was covered with dirt on my way home. The fresh new world was dirty and used again.

Despite winter's attempt to overtake the warmer temps it just isn't going to last. Spring officially will be here Wed. and we have temps into the 50's and rain. That should take care of any remaining snow.
