Michigan Road Facts



The longest Interstate Highway in the State of Michigan is I-75 which is 395 miles from the Ohio border to Sault Ste. Marie.

The longest State Highway is M66 which is 268.95 miles running the length of the lower Peninsula from the Indiana state line to Charlevoix, MI.

The Siphon Bridge (in the U.P.) which is located on Old US 2, over the Manistique River is noted in Ripleys Believe it Or Not as being the only bridge 4 feet below water level.

The 3-span camelback bridge in Mottville (located just a few miles from our home on the St. Joseph River downstate) is the longest remaining bridge of this type.
