Quiet Weekend

This has been a quiet Saturday along the trails. The thaw we had earlier this week maybe kept people at home, or concern about the storm system moving through Michigan as the weekend progresses. Either way, its made for some good riding for those out on the trails and not having to fight the traffic that is usually out there. We had a few cancellations, but other filled in those rooms. Leaving us with only 3 empty rooms last night.
Mike is just heading out to take a quick ride down to Waters, to look over the Vintage Snowmobiles and have a little fun on the trail.
Its a beautiful afternoon. Sunny, slight breeze and 24 degrees. Sparky and I enjoyed our walk this afternoon. Of course, he always enjoys himself whatever. He met up with his friends Dancer and Sassy. He came in, finished up his food and is now taking a nap.
We said goodbye this morning to a great group that was with all week from the Maple Summit Snowmobile Club out of Pennsylvania. They called home before leaving and heard the news that they'll be returning to snow! Ruth put on 543 miles on her sled this week, despite the one day of 'spring thaw'... excuse my language!
Spring is considered a cuss word around here until at least middle March.
