Last Full Moon of the Winter
I was just checking my Farmers Almanac which tells me tonight's full moon is the last of this winter season.
Doesn't that make you sad? It sure does me, and I won't even tell Mike. It could throw him into a deep depression. I'm having to slowly 'transition' him into the reality that winter will be moving into spring..... eventually.
This full moon is also known as the Full Sap Moon - because the warmer temps starts the maple sap flowing,
and a Full Crust Moon as the snows ground cover turns crusty from daytime warming temps.
Ready or not the temperatures will start to rise, the ground begin to warm and earthworms will replace the snow.
