Valentines

Yesterday at 'the home' a class of third graders came to make Valentine boxes with our residents. Remember those days?
We used to use the half gallon milk cartons or shoe boxes then spent a night with paper, scissors and glue decorating our boxes with slots placed on top to drop the Valentines in. That was a night's work, and another night was spent picking out Valentines for those special friends and then addressing one for each one in the class.
Valentine's was a fun holiday, having a birthday just made it a party to share with everyone.
