Just before going to bed last night the three of us took a walk around and were treated to a beautiful Northern Lights showing in the skies. Awesome, and another reason we love Northern Michigan. Sparky and I just took a walk out there tonight and tried to see something, but the clouds are covering the skies.
Too bad they weren't sparkling over crystal white snow. Seldom are things perfect. It was still magnificent and made me intrigued enough to explore the web and look at some beautiful pics. One site you might enjoy looking at has pics of the Northern Lights over the Great Lakes:

Its been pretty quiet around here with no snow, just dreary rain and warmer temps.
